Naturopathy is a primary healthcare approach that uses only natural medicines and methods. Prevention is always preferable, but where there are symptoms of ill health, the underlying cause is treated as well as the symptoms. Consideration is given to all aspects of a person's health - physical, mental and emotional.
The treatment modalities may be combined depending on the individual being treated. This can include nutrition, herbal medicine and homeopathy. Improving nutrition, detoxification, elimination, circulation and innervation are fundamental to the establishment and maintenance of good health.
Sarah offers effective treatments, based solely upon natural medicine, that are individually tailored to each patient.
The first consultation can take up to an hour, so that she can gather a full and comprehensive medical history and provide a detailed treatment regime.
Common conditions that Sarah specialises in include:
Sarah provides help in optimising health for natural fertility, preconception, pre-natal, birth & breastfeeding. Infant and children's' health issues, such as reflux, constipation, eczema, recurrent infections and food intolerances.
Food intolerance tests can be carried out in the office using an EAV instrument which measures the body's response to different foods. It is non invasive and the results are available immediately.
Live & Dried Blood Analysis involves taking very small drops of blood and observing these samples under a dark field microscope. The camera attached to the microscope enables the patients to view the blood samples at the same time, and the different features are photographed.
EAV testing (Electro Acupuncture According to Dr Voll) Sarah uses the latest EAV instrument. EAV testing measures the electrical conductivity of specific acupuncture points that relate to the organs and meridians within the body.
